Police Actions During Hall Patrols Questioned in Suit 944

A lawsuit has been filed against the NYPD for unlawfully patrolling the halls of certain apartment complexes and questioning residents. San-Diego-Auto-Accident-lawyer According to the suit, police often “throw residents against the wall” and question them, and some have ended up in jail for alleged trespassing. The patrols are part of the Operation Clean Halls program in an attempt to protect residents in high-crime areas. The suit is not asking for an end to the program, but rather “seeking to restrain police from stopping people and questioning them.”  Jonathan Allen, Reuters  03/29/2012 San Diego personal injury attorney
