Produced by Procycle Group, Inc., the agency said the front fork steering tube can break, posing a fall injury hazard. A Maryland jury has awarded $3.3 million in a lawsuit filed over the death of a woman who was killed by a motorist while walking down Pennsylvania Avenue. The lawsuit claimed the state was liable because it failed to install proper safety features on the road, such as guard rails. Boat accident due to drunken driver 73

A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit filed against a Connecticutlakeside bar stemming from a fatal 2008 drunken boating accident. The lawsuit claimed bartenders at Down the Hatch continued to serve a man who was well beyond the legal blood alcohol limit. The man then drove off in his boat and caused the fatal accident, the suit stated. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 29,000 Suzuki ATVs due to the risk of fire. The recall covers all 2008-2010 LT-A450X model Suzuki KingQuad ATVs, as well as all 2009-2010 LT-A500X, 2008-2010 LT-A750X, and 2011 LT-A500X and LT-A750X models made before Dec. 11. Doctor fails to diagnose patient with cancer 66

An Indiana surgeon who was on the run for over five years faces a negligence lawsuit claiming he caused the death of a woman in 2004 after failing to diagnose her with lung cancer. The suit claims the woman went to see the doctor in 2004 with a scratchy throat, received unnecessary surgery and delayed treatment, and died after lung cancer was not treated.
