A California mental health facility employee has filed a whistle-blower lawsuit against the hospital over alleged “minimal, substandard care” given to patients. Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura has filed a lawsuit against the Transportation Security Administration over a recent pat-down he received at an airport. Lockheed Martin agreed to a $2 million settlement in a whistle-blower suit accusing the company of submitting false claims on a U.S. government contract. According to the lawsuit, Lockheed conspired with government employees and another company to guarantee they won a 2004 contract working on the Naval Oceanographic Office Major Shared Resource Center in Mississippi. A lawsuit has been filed against Taco Bell that accuses the company of false advertising with its claims to use “ground beef” or “seasoned ground beef” in its products. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 300 Rosebud drop-side cribs due to safety issues associated with the product. Manufactured by Status Furniture, the drop-side rail hardware on the cribs can break or fail, creating a gap that infants can become trapped in.
