Panera Bread Co. Lawsuit 142

Premises Liability is another area of San Diego Personal Injury Law.

Panera Bread Co. has reached a $5.75 million settlement in a lawsuit over allegedly misleading investors about the success of the company’s Crispani pizza. The lawsuit claimed that between 2005 and 2007, Panera Bread officials made false and misleading statements about Crispani, artificially inflating Panera’s stock. Officials also failed to report that the product was a drag on sales and gave misleading growth projections. The Crispani product was discontinued in 2008.  San Diego personal injury attorney Lisa Brown, St. Louis Post Dispatch  02/23/2011
