Infant teethers recall 246

Product Liability is another area of San Diego Personal Injury Law.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 37,000 infant teethers/rattles due to small pieces on the product that can pose a choking risk. The product’s importer, Sassy Inc., said “small pieces of the plastic ball can detach as a result of children chewing on the teether/rattle, posing an ingestion hazard.” The company has received one report of a piece detaching while being chewed by a child, but no injuries occurred.  San Diego personal injury attorney Staff Report, PR Newswire  01/31/2011
