Handicap parking lawsuit 282

Premises Liability is another area of San Diego Personal Injury Law.

The Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) recently denied a severely handicapped girl a handicapped parking space in front of her home, and she and her family have filed suit against the agency as a result. The PPA denied the request because the girl “didn’t have the consent of one of her next-door neighbors,” but the lawsuit claims no such consent is necessary on a public street. The agency acted “irrationally, discriminatorily and without cause,” the plaintiff’s attorney told the Philadelphia Inquirer.  San Diego personal injury attorney Michael Hinkelman, Philadelphia Inquirer  01/21/2011
