Food dehydrators recall 286

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 4,800 food dehydrators due to a defect that can cause the device to overheat. The Metal Ware Corporation said its NESCO American Harvest Gardenmaster Food Dehydrator has a defective capacitor “that can overheat, posing a smoke and fire hazard.” There have been three reports of smoke or fire occurring, but no injuries.  San Diego personal injury attorney Staff Report, PR Newswire  01/20/2011
