Employee fired because of age 294

A female employee at a gentlemen’s club in Houston received a $60,000 settlement from the establishment after she filed a lawsuit against them for firing her over her age. In her lawsuit, the woman claimed she was fired after working at the club for 13 years “because, at 56, she was too old.” Her bosses were also making derogatory comments to her because of her age while she was employed at the club, the suit claimed.  San Diego personal injury attorney Nina Mandell , New York Daily News  01/18/2011
