School president took $52,000 to prevent bank foreclosure 61

A New York Catholic high school has agreed to a $53,000 settlement in a lawsuit filed by a sports memorabilia auction house. The suit alleged the school covered up the fact that the school president took more than $52,000 from school funds to prevent a bank from foreclosing on his son’s upstate home. The son, former rapper Peter J. Nash, was targeted by the memorabilia company in a lawsuit, and the company claims the school interfered with their attempts to collect a settlement from Nash.  San Diego personal injury attorney Michael O’Keeffe , New York Daily News  03/15/2011
