BP America and Atlantic Richfield Co. lawsuit 155

Premises Liability is another area of San Diego Personal Injury Law.

A group of Nevada residents filed a class-action lawsuit last week against BP America and Atlantic Richfield Co. over an abandoned toxic mine. The lawsuit claims local drinking wells have become contaminated with “uranium, arsenic and other metals” and that the companies concealed the amount of contaminants that were leaking off the mine site. The lawsuit is seeking at least $5 million in damages on behalf of 100 plaintiffs.  San Diego personal injury attorney Wire Report, The Washington Post  02/15/2011
