Lawsuit against over a 10 p.m. curfew imposed to stop gang violence 157

Premises Liability is another area of San Diego Personal Injury Law.

A lawsuit has been filed against the city of Los Angeles over a 10 p.m. curfew imposed to stop gang violence. The curfew was put in place through a series of injunctions targeting gang members in a effort to decrease violence. The language of the curfew, however, is so vague that it “violate(s) a person’s constitutional rights,” the lawsuit states. The suit stems from a recent arrest of a teenage boy who was out after curfew. The boy, the Los Angeles Times reports, had no affiliation with a gang but was targeted because he older brother did.  San Diego personal injury attorney Joel Rubin, LA Times  02/14/2011
