The city of La Junta, Colo., has agreed to settle a lawsuit with a New Jersey man who was wrongful imprisoned. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff was arrested on an Amtrak train after being accused of “making statements about bombing the train and al-Qaeda” while on his cell phone. Passengers near the man, however, said they heard nothing of the sort and the suit accuses officers of lying in their arrest affidavits.
