5 year old autistic boy voted out of kindergarden 2

This case has to do with Emotional Distress which is another form of personal injury cause of action. A Florida court has awarded $350,000 to the family of a 5-year-old autistic child who was voted out of his kindergarten class in 2008. The suit claimed the teacher of the class orchestrated a vote among the class, asking the students what they didn’t like about the boy and voting him from the class, 14-2. The teacher was suspended for a year after the incident.  San Diego Personal Injury Attorney Martha Neil, American Bar Association Journal  12/02/2010
