King County in Washington has agreed to a $4.5 million settlement with a local woman who was hit by a Metro bus while using a crosswalk in 2008. The woman suffered a brain injury as well as a shattered arm when she was struck by the bus’ mirror, her suit claimed, and she was forced to quit her job.
