Bank of America lawsuit 211

Premises Liability is another area of San Diego Personal Injury Law.

Bank of American has agreed to settle a $410 million lawsuit centered around alleged excessive overdraft fees. The original lawsuits claimed the bank would rank customer transactions from largest to smallest instead of chronological order, which maximized the amount of fees the bank could charge. Since the lawsuits were filed in 2009, Bank of America has changed their overdraft practices and lowered customer fees.  San Diego personal injury attorney Jonathan Stempel, Reuters  02/05/2011
