A Pennsylvania inmate who suffered an almost-fatal beating in prison last year has filed a lawsuit against Lackawanna County. He claims in his suit that “prison officials showed deliberate indifference and ignored warnings about his safety.” He suffered permanent neurological damage from the attack.
