Drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline Plc has settled a lawsuit filed by the family of a man who allegedly suffered a heart attack after taking the diabetes drug Avandia. The company has also agreed to pay almost half a billion dollars to resolve claims it hid the drug’s health risks.
