A Missouri man has filed a lawsuit against two former Kansas City priests, claiming they both sexually abused him when he was a boy. The suit alleges the molestation happened when the boy was eight-years-old by one defendant and then again when he was 13 by the other. The Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph is also named in the lawsuit, which claims the church should have been aware of the priests’ behaviors and done more to stop them.
