An Ohio University professor has received a settlement totaling over $150,000 in a plagiarism lawsuit in which the professor claimed his civil rights were violated. In 2004, the professor was held responsible for allegations of allowing plagiarism by graduate students in the mechanical engineering department, and his graduate faculty status was revoked.
