The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 2,500 low-profile surge protectors due to an electrical shock hazard. Manufactured by Rite-Tech Industrial Co., the protectors have “improper grounding of the case and inadequate insulation for the circuit breaker,” the agency reported.
