Music labels premises liability 319

Premises Liability is another area of San Diego Personal Injury Law.

The U.S. Supreme Court left intact a decision by a federal court of appeals in New York to move forward to the evidence gathering-stage in a suit accusing the country’s four largest music labels of price-fixing. While the companies argue there’s insufficient information to prove misconduct, the courts claimed the suit includes more specifics than similar antitrust cases that were dismissed in the past. According to the suit, Sony Corp., Vivendi SA, Warner Music Group Corp. and EMI Group Ltd. allegedly collaborated in charging excessively high fees and imposing unwarranted restrictions.  San Diego personal injury attorney Greg Stohr, Bloomberg  01/10/2011
