3M Co. has agreed to a $12 million settlement in a discrimination lawsuit filed by company employees. The suit claims the company discriminated against older workers and believed they were “less able or willing to accept and apply new business methodologies adopted by the company.” The class-action suit covers roughly 7,000 employees.  San Diego Personal Injury Attorney Beth Hawkins, Bloomberg  03/18/2011
